Jenica Cole hired as new Director

The Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce and Princeton Tourism and Board of Directors is pleased to announce that a tentative agreement has been reached with Jenica Cole who will be named as the new Executive Director of the Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce and Princeton Tourism.

Cole brings strong Bureau County ties to the position. She is a graduate of LaMoille High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College along with ten years of work experience in the field of marketing and sales management.  She has been a parent partner of the OSF Medical Group (Peoria) and a Big Brother Big Sister mentor.

Michael Smith, President of the Chamber Board of Directors said, “The search for our new director has taken longer than the Board had anticipated, in large part due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions. With that said, we are very fortunate and equally excited to be able to hire Jenica. She has very strong ties to our community and is committed to making Princeton a great place to live, work, and shop.”

Cole is scheduled to assume her new role on November 5.
